CTO LAUNCHES ONLINE TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT LEARNING CENTRE

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (6 Dec, 2021)

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has reached agreement with the Canada-based e-learning courseware development company, Velsoft, to further advance the regional tourism development agency’s virtual training and development programme.

Velsoft will host the Caribbean Tourism Institute, the CTO’s online campus developed by the Canadian firm. The new portal is an open online educational, training and development learning centre designed to provide affordable access to training opportunities for everyone who works, or aspires to work, in the Caribbean tourism and hospitality sector.

ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA TOURISM STAKEHOLDERS EXCITED AS WEST JET RETURNS

ST. JOHN’S, ANTIGUA (November 22, 2021) – WestJet is now back in Antigua and Barbuda, providing Canadian travellers with another means of escaping the cold winter and finding themselves in the sunny twin-island paradise.

Antigua and Barbuda now allows fully vaccinated arriving passengers the option of presenting a RT PCR test negative result of four (4) days or fewer from date of testing, OR an approved Rapid Antigen test negative result of (3) or fewer days from date of testing to be permitted entry into Antigua and Barbuda.

WestJet's weekly Sunday service to will continue until next month when the service will be increased to twice a week.
